Operation Belly-Full
Operation Belly-Full is ELOG's version of a feed the homeless campaign. We target this "operation" at least twice per year, around Easter and Thanksgiving, at a local soup kitchen. (Recently we have been at HALO Ministries and the Christian Shelter).
Bright Minds with Bright Futures Bookbag Drive
ELOG's annual Bright Minds with Bright Futures (BMBF) Bookbag Giveaway was created to assist disadvantaged families in the area by providing essential items (bookbags & School supplies) for kids heading back to school in September. Additionally, this event allows E.L.O.G. the opportunity to mentor to kids and promote the importance of obtaining an education.
Community Celebrations
Each year we celebrate our community with events such as the Daddy-Daughter Dance and the Mother-Son Dance. These are detailed in the "What we Do" and "News" Area of the website. This celebration of family and our youth is an important to fulfill our mission.
